It takes a village to build a successful venture.

We aim to connect people in the “venture building business” to combine knowledge, experience, deal flows, speed up co-operations for venture building. There are gaps in the current whole venture building ecosystem, for example…

  • There are too many startups thanks to standardized batches of incubator/accelerator programs and abundant online services, competitions emerge fast, ecosystem navigation becomes challenging for all!
  • Investors have their risk management methods — because of lacking industry insights, they need financial numbers to support investment decisions (for example, only invest in those with market traction from recurring revenue, not project-based revenue, others just “spray and pray”). The challenges that most investors face are obvious.
  • Startups need to reach out to hundreds of investors to get, maybe, two checks if lucky, but what they need is beyond funding! The time spent will be much more worth it if they connect with a network of interdisciplinary partners (human capital, social capital) who can help bring them to the next milestones, maybe it’s investment ready, or maybe it’s a new market entry.
  • Personalized support for each venture is in demand but what’s needed could be very different case by case.
  • Tech startups usually are founded by technical teams, their biggest challenge is commercialization – building PoC with clients, PMF validation, business, and pricing models, etc., they need ecosystem navigation, industry connections, and a disciplined empirical method.
  • In the venture growth journey, the resources for business development (BD) always are in demand – referrals, partnerships, learning adjacent opportunities, …, not only startups, but their investors desire these too.

Many might be familiar with the “network effect” term, our vision is 3000 ft. whole picture – seeing meaningful connections for venture building from zero to exit, without re-inventing wheels already out there. We reach out to existing communities, industry leaders, value providers, and intelligent investors, and we look beyond startup ecosystems. When we say “we”, you can be a part of it in the future. This initiative is empirical itself; the who and how of this network will iterate fast moving forward. This is the future of work now.

We are less interested in copy-cat software, there are too many of them with minute differences. Our ambition is for building and scaling up commercialization for deeper technologies and integrated solutions to make both impact and profit, in climate tech, health tech, manufacturing, and organization transformation. Innovations are very hard. That’s why we need an interdisciplinary network for collective intelligence. We are global-minded to leverage special strengths from the globe.   • Post your profile on our website to be recognized as a venture-building leader, or to keep this relationship in stealth mode, up to you. For the former case, please give us one paragraph briefing on your experience and interests, what you like to offer or give (for example, an educational talk for entrepreneurs or investors, a free mentoring session), and business or investment opportunities you might share with our network, and your nice photo.
  • Share with us your insights about venture building, industry innovation trends or smart money trends, we’ll co-create a feed of collective venture intelligence to be shared on social media. (follow us on LinkedIn)
  • Get emails from us about potential deals matched to your interests, and explore further potential case by case.
  • Opt-in to be invited to sit on our “Venture Council”, recognized as a venture building leader along with other select professionals complementary to your profile, to give feedback to startups that matched your interests and expertise. It’s up to you if you like to accept the invitation or engage further with the startups you meet and on what terms and commitments.
  • Join our Venture Council meetings that are open to our network to learn about something new or discover potential partnership opportunities, as a participant. We help catalyze potential collaboration, interpret values for related parties and negotiate terms.
  • Introduce your portfolio companies to us if they like to add more human capital, social capital, and fund capital.
  • Find experts or insights from our network for investment decision-making, we are always happy to make warm introductions or create knowledge exchanges.
  • Suggest ideas to be added to how we collaborate. To make this process more efficient, we like to pick brains from you to form a repeatable process together.
  • Invest in startups we work with through a strategic syndicate, SAFE, or a traditional venture funding model.
  • Get the first hand industry insights or an early opportunity to join select startups as a co-founder, team member, advisor or board member.
